Gazettes.lk aims to correct material factual errors when they are identified and can be reasonably verified.
What You Can Report
- Incorrect application or closing dates
- Wrong examination, vacancy or institution names
- Broken or incorrect official links
- Incorrect eligibility or application information
- Material differences between our summary and the official source
How to Submit a Correction
Email admin@gazettes.lk and include the Gazettes.lk page URL, the information you believe is incorrect, and—where possible—the official source supporting the correction. You may also call 0741514007.
How We Review Reports
We compare the reported issue with the relevant source or other reliable evidence. If a material error is confirmed, we aim to update the page as appropriate. Minor spelling, formatting or style changes may be made without a formal correction note.
Updates Versus Corrections
An official notice may change after our original publication. In that situation, updating the page to reflect a new official development is not necessarily a correction of an original error. Where useful, we may clarify that information has been updated.
Archived Content
Older notices may remain online for reference. An expired opportunity is not automatically inaccurate simply because its deadline has passed. We may label or contextualize older content where appropriate.
No Removal in Exchange for Payment
We do not treat payment as a substitute for factual correction. Legitimate correction requests are reviewed based on the evidence available.
