Important Symbols in the PDF

NQC No Qualified Candidates. This does not necessarily mean the course is unavailable.
• The district quota for that course may already have been filled.
• Available university places may have been filled by candidates with higher Z-Scores.
• No candidate from that district may have satisfied the minimum admission requirements.
* indicates courses selected entirely on an all-island merit basis.
# indicates courses for which practical or aptitude tests were conducted.

How University Selection Works

University admission is not determined only by obtaining a high Z-Score. Selection may also depend on the number of available places, district allocation, all-island merit ranking, course preferences and any aptitude or practical test requirements.

Some courses are not offered in all three languages. Therefore, a student may not be selected for a particular course or university even when the published minimum Z-Score appears to have been reached.

Important Notice to Students

The cut-off mark is provided for reference and comparison. It should not be treated as an official university admission certificate. Students must check the official university course-selection result and follow the instructions issued by the relevant authorities.
