Salary Scale
Rs. 82,150 – Rs. 195,970
Salary scale: SL 1-2025 – Rs. 82,150 – 10 × 2,400 – 8 × 2,940 – 17 × 3,900 – Rs. 195,970 per month.
Who Can Apply?
This limited examination is intended for eligible officers currently serving in specified posts in the Department of Technical Education and Training.

Qualification Pathways
Degree Qualification
A degree containing the relevant field as a principal subject from a university recognised by the University Grants Commission or the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission, together with the required departmental service experience.
NVQ Level 6 Qualification
A National Vocational Qualification Level 6 diploma in the relevant field from an institution recognised by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission, together with the required service experience.
NVQ Level 5 or Equivalent Qualification
A National Vocational Qualification Level 5 diploma or an equivalent qualification in the relevant field, together with the required experience in an eligible departmental post.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on a written competitive examination, professional test where applicable and verification of qualifications.
